Slog No.4

This week I have the second term test. I think I did well except for the second question. I didn't understand the question and have nothing to answer with... While other problems I did well and may earn a good mark. To prepare for the final exam, I have to pay more attention to the text and read information in order to get more knowledge.

Slog No.3

What I learnt this week is computer networks. It consists of token ring, star configuration and bus configuration. The protocols are closely related to the physical connnection between machines in a network. Messages must be passed to reveal information contained in one machine's memory to another. In addition to this one, I also learnt knowledge about HTML. The HTML page is interpreted by the web browser and contain more than formatted text, images and sound. As for the video, it is quite similar with that of lask week so before deciding which group should go to we have to see the features carefully.

Slog No.2

This week we have learnt operating systems came after human operators, personal computer OSs and OS wars. This gave me a clearer understanding of operating systems which will help me to know the history and theory of this kind of system. In addition to this, we learnt how to use apply with DrRacket to do codes with different situations. When we do this type of problem, we have to see which situation it belongs to and then decide what should do next.

When I came to computer world

Till today I have taken nearly two months to take part in CSC104H1. This is the second time for me to learn knowledge about computer (one is computer science in grade 12). And during this period, I have learnt to run Dr Racket and some easy instructions. In addition to this, the slides provided by our professor contains the history of computer, algorithm and calculating information. When I started to manage the instructions that I have to type in Dr Racket, it is a good time for me to practise my organizing ability which is quite helpful for maths study. But sometimes, when I watched new radios online about Dr Racket, some steps are really challenging for me. In this way, I will consult my peers and then watch the movies again as well as try the instructions. I am looking forward to next lectures.
